Snowtrax Accessibility Sessions
We want everyone who visits Snowtrax to feel welcome, and to experience the most enjoyable sessions possible.
To enable all visitors to have the same positive experience and to be able to participate fully, we have created the following commitment to address disability in its broadest sense, including people with:
- Impaired vision
- Motor coordination difficulties
- Cognitive impairments and/or learning difficulties
- Deafness or impaired hearing
This is part of our commitment to provide equal opportunities to all.
Snowtrax Accessibility Sessions are often slightly adapted not just to allow as many people as possible to participate, but also for any carers to watch/assist where needed. Accessibility sessions include:
- Ringos
- Ski Bobs
- Alpine Adventure Park
- Skiing (Taster Session)
- Snowboarding (Taster Session)
At Snowtrax we pride ourselves on offering our customers a wide range of accessible facilities, we are continually looking at ways in which we can improve accessibility to provide inclusive areas and activities for all users.

If possible – Bring your own helmet
For the time being, we ask that everyone attending a Ringo or Ski Bob Session bring their own helmet if they can. Cycling, kayaking and of course skiing or snowboarding helmets are acceptable. If you do not have a suitable helmet, then don’t worry, we have fully sanitised rental helmets available free of charge.
Safety Requirements
Ringos
- Age restriction – 3 years old to Adult
- Height restriction – Must be over 1m tall (3ft 3″)
- Able to sit in and get out of Ringo seated position
- Gloves, long-sleeve tops and trousers and closed shoes advisable
- Carer Supervision must be provided
Skibobs
- Age restriction – 6 years old to Adult
- No Height restriction
- Able to sit on and steer Skibob
- Gloves, long-sleeve tops and trousers and closed shoes advisable
- Carer Supervision must be provided
Alpine Adventure Park
- No Age restriction – Ages 4 and up recommended
- No Height restriction
- Carer Supervision must be provided
